Attorney Appointments

If you prefer to schedule an appointment or consultation by phone, please call 870-860-7084.

Initial Consultation

The purpose of an initial consultation is for you to tell us your story, for us to gather information and documents, when possible, to determine whether we can provide you legal services, and for us both to determine whether an attorney/client relationship is the right fit.  We offer in-person consultations at two locations:  Texarkana, Arkansas and Bentonville, Arkansas.

Because all potential clients are not in the immediate area for an in office consultation, we offer consultations via video conferencing to accommodate individuals in Arkansas counties too far removed from our two physical locations and for those whoa re unable to make an in-office meeting fit with their schedule.  If, for some reason, you are not able to be in-person for your consultation, be sure to schedule your consultation as a video conference.  We also offer the option of consultation by phone call if neither in-person or video conference are an option for you.

When scheduling a consultation online using the scheduling application above, be sure to choose the correct location (either "in person", "by phone", or "zoom") so that we are sure to connect with you with ease.

Consultations are for individuals considering hiring an attorney.  No legal advice will be given during a consultation.  Instead, a consultation is for the purpose of gathering information about whether you may have a meritorious case or legal matter or whether it is the type of case that our firm may take on.

If you would like to schedule a consultation with Olivia Sheppard Attorney at Law, PLLC, please either call 870-860-7804 or simply schedule by selecting your preferred date, time, and location here.

Appointments for Current Clients

Current clients have several different methods of scheduling appointments available to them.  One of the most hassle-free is by scheduling online.  Scheduling online gives current clients the ability to, rather than calling and waiting for a return call or e-mailing back and forth, schedule an appointment to discuss pressing aspects of their case as those issues come up.

When current clients schedule appointments online, they can choose from three options: 15 Minute Client Appointment, 30 Minute Client Appointment, and 60 Minute Client Appointment.  These are approximate times, and we will not hold you to an exact time frame.  However, for scheduling purposes, we ask that you please choose a longer appointment time if you are uncertain.

In Office Meetings

When scheduling a client appointment, be cognizant of selecting a location for the appointment.  To schedule a tradition meeting with your attorney in the office, be sure to select "in person" as the location of the appointment.

Phone Calls

There is an option to schedule phone call appointments for current clients in all three appointment lengths above.  Simply choose "by phone" as the location for the appointment.  Scheduling client phone calls this way proves to be a mutual time saver for clients and for us.  The most common contact we have with a client during a family law case is phone calls, and scheduling 15 minute or longer phone calls eliminates what once was inevitable phone tag.

Zoom Meetings

Current clients have the option to schedule a zoom video conference if they are unavailable for an in-person meeting but prefer the interaction of an in-person meeting rather than a phone call.  To schedule a zoom meeting, choose "zoom" as the location of the meeting instead of in-person or by phone.  We ask that clients review the Note about Consultations and Appointments by Video Conference below prior to his or her first zoom meeting.
